Wow…so the other day Adrian decided it would be totally beneficial to our relationship if we both started playing World of Warcraft together. This is because he just started playing it because his friends at work got him started, and we work different hours, and I can only come to his house once a week, and if we both play, we can hang out on the game and stuff. So he bought it for me. LOL. Yeah, I play WoW now. Hmm…we’ll see how that goes, eh?

It’s Raining Books

So I really like to read. And generally I like to read two books at a time. This is due to the fact that in February I started the 50 Book Challenge, and I was only reading one at a time, but as the months go on and February 2009 is creeping closer and closer, I’ve realised that I’ll never get by with just one book.

Currently I’m reading Eye of The World by Robert Jordan. Its pretty good, its just taking me a bit longer to read than usual, due to starting a new job and having class for said job. I have a ton of books in my house, but I also go to the library a lot, and right now I’ve got the following books just staring at me, waiting to be read: How I Paid For College by Marc Acito, The Bermudez Triangle by Maureen Johnson and Running With Scissors by Augusten Burroughs. I can’t decide which one to read now. I guess whoever I hear say the title of one of those books next, I’ll read it. All of them were recommended to me.

Knight Shift

The other night after I posted my first entry, Adrian came home from work, so I met him outside, that way we could go to the gas station and stuff. Well, he had some kind of “costume” on…he could barely move, and was kind of driving crazy. When we got to the gas station, he got out to pump the gas, and he was wearing boxes. His coworkers had taped cardboard boxes to him, like armor, and wrote “Knight Shift” on it. If I were in a different car, like maybe I didn’t know him, that would have been the funniest thing I’d ever seen! And I don’t even have pictures. His coworkers apparently do, but I haven’t seen them yet. Maybe when they upload them I’ll post a few here.

Oh, also, I got my TB test done. It didn’t even hurt! And Adrian bought me lunch afterward. I was so scared about it though. And now I think I have to do it again for some reason. Hmm.

TB or not TB…that is the question.

So I always say “Oh, I want to blog, I’m going to so much and everyone will love me for it,” when in actuality I may start blogging for like a few months or something, and I might make a few friends wherever I’m blogging, and they might think I’m interesting for a while, but then I get bored, and forget that I even have a blog, and then I never talk to those friends again. Or close to it. I guess I have to look at it a different way. Blogging isn’t always about impressing other people, its a way to express yourself through words, and I think thats exactly how I’ll look at it this time.

I think one of my biggest issues with blogging before was that the first time I tried to do it, my best friend/girl friend at the time blogged too, at the same place (GreatestJournal.com) and I always felt like I couldn’t say everything that I wanted to say cos she would read it and judge me. Or random people would come across it and take offense to stuff that I say. But that doesn’t matter anymore. I’m not here to impress anyone, I’m here to speak my mind. So if you don’t like what I have to say, sorry. I’m living for me this time.

I guess I’ll jump right in then.

Last night I came to Adrian’s house when he got off work, and we meant to go to bed not so late, because I had a 9:30 appointment the next morning, and since he lives an hour away from the place we had to go to, we had to be up at 8 to leave at 8:30. Well, we didn’t end up going to bed until 4 AM and since my schedule was so messed up due to work, I ended up waking up around 7:30. Ugh.

The appointment I had to get was for a TB test. Now I’m sorry, but if I’m not hacking up blood, I think its clear I don’t have TB. Maybe I’m just crazy? But yeah. I had Adrian go with me because I’m so scared of needles, and it didn’t even hurt, but I have to get another one done because for some reason thats the rule. You have to have two. Ugh. It made me feel sick just thinking about it though.

But it looks like I don’t have TB, just as I suspected, so thats awesome. I’ll leave you with this:
